Performances

• Siddhant Chaturvedi shines as Nilesh. He captures the pain, vulnerability, and quiet strength of a man trying to navigate love while facing systemic discrimination.

• Triptii Dimri as Vidhi brings sincerity and emotional depth. Though her role is slightly less layered, she convincingly portrays the conflict between love and family loyalty.

• The supporting cast adds authenticity, especially in scenes highlighting caste dynamics and generational prejudice.

Direction & Writing

Shazia Iqbal’s direction deserves praise for its courage. The film feels raw, realistic, and socially relevant. The first half slowly builds tension, showing the everyday struggles of Nilesh in an environment where he constantly feels “less than.”

However, the narrative does stumble at times:
